WHAT IS TED:
TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.
Charles gave a speech at TED back in 2005 stating that the heart of innovation is collaboration. Once inventors were on their own and tried selling their discoveries to businesses and such. Now that is not the case. Being in the photography industry it is interesting to think what would happen if more and more photographers got together for collaboration.
